Transient & Trifling: Community Edition

Live performance produced by Madeleine Margot at our exclusive Soho hotel, Sunday September 7th, 6pm-Midnight

This is a show about human connection. Breaking away from the typical notion that kink performance must rely on fetish fashion and shock value, this is a blend contemporary pole dance, performance art, and real conversations about the kink experience. Radically raw, vulnerable and visceral, Madeleine Margot’s Transient and Trifling performance is designed to relate to vanilla audiences as well as kinksters. This community edition, curated for a kinky audience, incorporates mixed medias, activism, and live storytelling in an intimate Soho setting. These are our stories told our way

Join us for a special evening at our very cool hotel, just off Piccadilly Circus. The bar opens at 6pm, when you can socialise with our 60 guests. The doors to the performance room open at 7pm and there’s a bar there too. The show starts at 7:30 and lasts for around 90 minutes. There will be an interval, when the bar will open again. After the show, you are invited to join us the roof garden for cocktails until midnight

It is essential to book your ticket in advance; there are only 60 tickets and hardly ever any seats available on the night. Tickets are only £25 (+ booking fee) – book your ticket here.

In the unlikely event that there are any seats left on the night, entry will be £30

If you have been to our Soho parties before, you will know that our hotel is very cool. The exact address is of course sent to everyone who books a ticket. (It’s between Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Circus and Hanover Square underground stations.)

The Cast of Transient & Trifling: Community Edition

Madeleine Margot (she/her) is an award-winning artist specialising in Chinese Pole, Pole Dance and Aerial Pole. She creates performances with a focus on activism: recent themes include the appropriation of provocative dance in the pole and circus industries and the misrepresentation of BDSM in pop culture. Madeleine is the producer of the kinky cabaret show Transient & Trifling, and has been featured in The Times and Brass Monkey Magazine. She has been a part of the BDSM community since 2019, often seen in rabbit ears eating carrots in cages.

Purrsia Kitt (she/they) is an international award-nominated, burlesque artiste whose work lives at the intersections of black femme queerness, disability, neurodivergence, and kink. Purrsia embodies the richness and complexity of these intersecting identities through unapologetic, sensual art. Purrsia produces @Fetlesque, a kink-positive cabaret that centres QTIBPOC artists who are also disabled and/or neurodivergent, and too often pushed to the margins. Purrsia’s relationship with kink and burlesque is more than performance; it’s a radical act of self-honour. With a dangerously divine stage presence and sultry feline energy, Purrsia Kitt is the undeniable Kinky Feline Goddess of Burlesque.

Rawdon Cooper (he/him)  is an internationally acclaimed contemporary pole dancer born and raised in London. As a performer, he showcases his fluid, alternative style, taking inspiration from many different genres, from Ballet to Bhangra, to weave a story together. He loves being on stage, having danced at numerous shows across London, including Bernadette, Molten Muse and of course the first edition of Transient and Trifling. Alongside regular performances, he has won numerous competitive titles around the UK, and recently even performed in the sold out Ghost Echo show in Berlin.
